My Million Pound Menu Winners, Pilgrim, To Host London and Liverpool Pop-Ups.

Following their success on BBC Two’s My Million Pound Menu and prior to opening their flagship restaurant at Liverpool’s much-anticipated Duke Street Market, Pilgrim will be hosting a number of pop-ups at Victory Mansion, Stoke Newington and 17 Love
Lane, Liverpool from Monday 18th February.

Pilgrim will be offering a 4-course set menu in London and 3-course set menu in Liverpool that follows the ‘Camino del Norte’, or The North Way. This famous route follows the Northern coast of Spain, from San Sebastian in the Basque Country, through Cantabria, Asturias and finishes in Santiago de Compostella in Galicia. Challenging the traditional ‘tapas’ model of Spanish dining, the menu will have a flexitarian, sustainable
focus which explores the flavours of the Iberian Peninsula.

The pop-ups will take place at Victory Mansion in Stoke Newington on Monday 18 th February from 7pm, then at 17 Love Lane in Liverpool from Thursday 28 th February at 7pm, with additional events taking place in the lead up to the opening of Duke Street Market in April.

Founded by Managing Director, Jamie Duffield; Chef Director, Dave Bone
and Brand & Marketing Director, Anthony Power, Pilgrim saw off? competition on the hit BBC show from Nordic ‘Hof’ concept, MATR, and a Quebec diner concept, Blue Caribou. The entrepreneurial restaurateurs earned the opportunity from Co- Founder of Graffiti Spirits Group , Matt Farrell, to open their own flagship restaurant in Graffiti Spirits Group and Urban Food & Drink’s new million pound concept, Duke Street Food & Drink Market when it opens its doors in April 2019. Featuring as the venue’s showpiece restaurant, the concept will specialise in seasonal, ethically sourced regional produce and an
extensive wine offering.

Anthony comments: “We think Liverpool and the wider area will love Pilgrim Restaurant and our fresh approach to the flavours and regional dishes found along the many varied routes of the Camino De Santiago. We’ll be sourcing the finest produce on offer and serving a flexitarian menu where we aim to showcase not only meat and fish, but vegetables and plant-based dishes, all cooked over live-fire on our centrepiece grill.
“We can’t wait for the doors to open at Duke Street Market and show Liverpool what we can do.”

Pilgrim will be hosting pop-ups at Victory Mansion, Stoke Newington, on  Monday 18th February and 17 Love Lane, Liverpool, on Thursday 28 th February, Friday 1st March, Saturday 2nd March, Thursday 7 th March, Friday 8 th March and Saturday 9 th March.
