Where to Eat this World Vegan Day

Long gone are the days when following a vegan lifestyle meant revolving menu choices around simple salads and uninspiring vegetable dishes, as now it’s easier than ever to find a restaurant which offers delicious and creative plant-based alternatives. 

With World Vegan Day taking place on Thursday 1st November ahead of Vegan Month throughout November, there’s never been a better time to sample some flavoursome vegan dishes, with both Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock and Titanic Hotel Liverpool offering a great selection to choose from. From hearty chillies, to new sweet Vegan treats, every style of Vegan eating is catered for on our fantastic Liverpool Dock. Gone are the days of flavour-less menu options as we say hello to dishes from around the world, all catering to those that wish to follow a Vegan lifestyle. Join as we celebrate the glory and ever-developing recipes of Vegan cuisine in some of Liverpool’s best loved eateries!

Revolution

Revolution doesn’t just serve great cocktails, their Pea and Courgette Risotto (£9.50) is a fresh and vibrant dish with mint, topped with micro lemon cress, bursting with flavour.

Lunyalita

For the perfect vegan Spanish feast, Lunyalita offers a variety of creative plant-based dishes. Guests can feast on Vegetable Paella (£15.95), or opt for the flavoursome Garbanzos (£6.85), a middle eastern spiced induced chickpea stew with butternut squash, almonds and apricots.

Peaberry Coffee House and Kitchen

One of Royal Albert Dock’s most recent openings, Peaberry, offers a number of mouth-watering vegan dishes. The Vegan Club is a favourite, made with spiced falafel, roasted red peppers, sliced avocado and apple slaw, served with Cajun sweet potato wedges – £7.95

Revolucion de Cuba

With a new menu having launched on 16th October, Revolucion de Cuba is a prime choice for some great food washed down with delicious cocktails. The Black Bean and Butternut Squash Chilli (£9.50) comprises of spiced black beans, roasted butternut squash, zesty rice and sweetcorn salsa, served with a charred tortilla.

Puffle Waffle

Serving up the latest food craze from Hong Kong, Puffle Waffle offers delicious bubble waffles with a variety toppings, and they’re launching a vegan Puffle Waffle just in time for World Vegan Day. The ‘No Moo’s, No Clucks, Just a Coconut’ is made with soya milk and cream, with a whole range of tasty toppings available to add.

Titanic Hotel Liverpool

Liverpool’s iconic Titanic Hotel has a whole vegan menu to satisfy tastebuds at Stanley’s Bar and Grill. The Aubergine Cannelloni with roast tomato ragu and basil pesto is brimming with flavour (£12.50) and offers a perfect vegan dish.
