Calling all pizza lovers of Liverpool – a brand new Pizzeria is setting up shop on Castle Street. What once was the home of steak, CAU, has had a brand new makeover as the guys from Rudy’s pizza prepare to move in, fire up the oven and serve inventive, delicious Neopolitan delights for us all to devour. Whether you’re a lover of the classic margarita or prefer a slightly crazier combination of flavours, we can guarantee you’re in for a treat at Rudy’s.
The Neopolitan independent pizzeria originally opened in the Little Italy area of Ancoats, Manchester in December 2015 and following quick success, expanded to Peter Street. Now they’re taking on new heights in sister city, Liverpool, in a stripped back, industrial style restaurant with 120 covers and what better location than the now buzzing foodie hub of Castle Street?
We have no doubt of Rudy’s impending success in Liverpool, with the restaurant now thriving in Manchester, with the new international guidebook featuring Rudy’s in their ‘where to eat pizza’ article, claiming that Rudy’s was nothing less than ‘one of the best places to eat pizza in the world.’ The Guardian has also named Rudy’s as one of the best places to eat pizza in the UK.
Being an independent, artisan operator, the restaurant incorporates a relaxed environment but adheres closely to the traditional style and flavours of Naples – the birthplace of pizza. Their approach to authenticity and quality means they use local produce, local suppliers and have made a name for themselves around the world.
We cant wait to have a slice!
