Cirque Du Soleil Comes to Liverpool

OVO Cirque Du Soleil

This week, Liverpool was treated to a spectacular performance at the Echo Arena. OVO, performed by Cirque Du Soleil is the incredible and theatrical story of insects, big and small, hardworking and hilarious. Unlock Liverpool were invited to get up close and personal with the gravity defying bugs.

Currently touring the UK, Cirque Du Soleil guarantees a night to remember. With traditional elements of a circus such as juggling, gravity defying stunts and a ring master, each character who took to the stage perfectly portrayed an insect. From a team of red ants who can juggle kiwi and corn with their feet to a butterfly breaking free from their cocoon by performing a majestic solo contortion on aerial silk, OVO promises to delight, entertain and surprise you with each beautiful and incredible act.

With a 20-minute interval during the performance, enjoy popcorn, sweets and drinks before returning to your seats at the Liverpool Echo Arena for the second halve of OVO.

We want to say a massive thank you to the team at Cirque Du Soleil for inviting Unlock Liverpool to watch OVO and witness some of the most incredible circus acts we have ever seen. We were thoroughly entertained and can’t wait for Cirque Du Soleil to return to Liverpool.
