Eden at Red Door Collaborate with Perrier-Jouët

Eden at Red Door teams up with Perrier–Jouët for a Champagne filled weekend and Unlock Liverpool were invited to taste some of the bubbles.

On Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July, Eden at Red Door collaborated with Perrier-Jouët, one of the world’s leading champagne producers. The weekend event included a Champagne Masterclass where guests learned the basics about Champagne, the history, blending, ageing and which champagne suites their palate best.

Eden is truely a beautiful concept and a place we really enjoy spending time at in Liverpool. The elegant furnishings and unique interior design makes this one of Liverpool’s more exclusive and stylish bars and the perfect place for a romantic date.

After being greeted by Joel from Pierre Champagne, we were treated to our first glass of the bubbly stuff. Joel then began to explain how Perrier-Jouet Champagne was born. French love birds in the region of Champagne in France helped this world renowed brand to blossom.

We got to sample their 3 blends, an original classic brut, a rosé champagne and of course their most luxurious blanc De Blanc’s. The Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé is ideal for rich dishes such as duck breast or lamb or even sushi. It has hints of chocolate and vanilla.
The classic, which was actually our favourite glass of the night, has a very sweet taste which remained in the mouth long after it was sipped.
