If you’ve been to Camp and Furnace in Liverpool before, we bet you’ve been to their crazy and energy fuelled event Bongo’s Bingo. This hugely popular event sums up Camp and Furnace to a tee. High energy, fun and a seriously good night out, but that’s not all Camp and Furnace has to offer. Based in Liverpool’s Silicon Valley, the Baltic Triangle, Camp and Furnace is actually home to some of the UK’s most innovative food and drink experiences. In fact, their Roast and Food Slam was voted 2nd in The Times’ Coolest restaurant’s in Britain.
The laid-back feel to the main restaurant hall makes for a relaxed and carefree approach to dinner and means you can sit back and enjoy a traditional roast dinner with friends, family and even pets. Booking in advance is always recommended and will ensure you get a seat at one of the long benches that line the hall. Making way for a more casual Sunday roast, Camp and Furnace’s staff are so welcoming and friendly, so even if you’re nursing a hangover, you should feel super comfortable while there.
Choose from a range of starters to kick off the meal and perhaps a glass of wine or two. We choose a delicious homemade soup and goats cheese & sun-blush tomato tart.
Next came the main event itself. A delicious lamb roast dinner served with stuffing, potatoes, plenty of vegetables and of course a helping of gravy and mint sauce. The perfect comfort food.
After this, we thought we’d be a bit naughty and treat ourselves to a lemon compote for a sweet and zesty finish to the meal and a cappuccino.
