What is Bouldering?

Unlike standard rock climbing, bouldering doesn’t require ropes and harnesses as the climbing walls are only 4.2 metres at their highest point. At The Climbing Hangar there are safety mats as far as the eye can see, so when you jump down from the wall, or should you fall off, you’ll be cushioned from the impact.

The beauty of bouldering is that it’s a social activity. Hang out with your mates or family and try to solve a tricky bouldering problem. Cheer them on, watch from the sidelines or grab a coffee and take things easy, you can enjoy several hours here just chilling out and having fun.
