The moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived! Castle Street is gaining a very special addition and we can’t wait to to head over and eat alllll of the pizza and see what the fuss is about! Recently named the best pizza restaurant in the UK by Trip Advisor, Rudy’s are due to open on Sunday 18th November. Originating in the heart of ‘little Italy’ Ancoats in Manchester in 2015, Rudy’s has since expanded successfully to Peter Street in the city and will now bring its critically acclaimed pizza to Liverpool for the first time.
Situated on Castle Street, the 120 cover restaurant features stripped back industrial style decor with a traditional pizza oven at its heart, cultivating a relaxed environment where passionate Pizzaiolo’s continue to follow the traditions and artistry of pizza from Naples – the birthplace of pizza.
Creating an unprecedented buzz around the world, Rudy’s sees its dough made on site each day, taking 24 hours to double ferment and just 60 seconds to cook. Creating soft, light and floppy pizza ready to be enjoyed instantaneously by folding or with a knife and fork.
The ethos of Rudy’s remains a true independent artisan operator producing quality Neapolitan pizza. These humble values and ‘Local Artisan’ approach which focuses on local suppliers has helped them create a name for themselves around the world in such a short amount of time.
The pizzeria has achieved critical acclaim, described in the new international guidebook, Where to Eat Pizza, as “Now one of the best places to eat pizza in the world”, The Guardian voted Rudy’s as one of the top ten pizza’s in the UK and Hardens Guide stated “ Now one of the best places to eat pizza in the UK’ and recently claiming the top spot in the ‘Top 10 pizza restaurants in the UK’ by Trip Advisor following a raft of positive reviews. In-keeping with its relaxed environment, Rudy’s is a walk in restaurant only and does not operate with a booking system.
