Liverpool Christmas Family Events
Fairytale Of New York
A world-class concert performed by talented Irish singers, dancers, and musicians singing all your festive favourites, from ‘Driving Home For Christmas’ to ‘Step Into Christmas’, it is a family event not to miss.
The concert will be performed on the 28th of November at the Liverpool Empire Theatre.

The Light Before Christmas Starlight
From the 29th of November to the 7th of December the Light Before Christmas Starlight event will be at the Liverpool Cathedral.
This family event offers the Nativity story where you explore the cathedral’s soundscapes and immersive light projections as well as the cathedral’s interior spaces. It’s suitable for all ages and The Welsford Bistro will offer a Christmas-style market menu for some festive delights.

Christmas Craft Fair At Strawberry Field
Perfect for some Christmas gift inspiration and a day out for the kids, the Christmas Craft Fair at Strawberry Field is on the 23rd of November and is free to attend.
The market also has a cafe and gardens to explore, it’s a great budget event to get you all into the Christmas spirit!

Liverpool Christmas Market
You can’t miss the Liverpool Christmas Market for a family outing, with over 40 traditional timber stalls selling festive crafts, food and drinks as well as funfair rides to keep the little ones occupied.
Located at St George’s Quarter the market runs from Saturday the 16th of November to the 24th of December.

Christmas Panto Jack and The Beanstalk
There’s nothing better than attending a pantomime at Christmas in Liverpool to get into the festive spirit. The classic Jack and The Beanstalk will be playing at 1 pm and 6 pm on Saturday the 30th of November at Formby Hall Golf Resort.

Sleeping Beauty Christmas Panto
Another great Panto to attend if you’re looking for things to do in December is the Sleeping Beauty pantomime taking place between the 6th of December to the 31st.

Liverpool Christmas Family Outdoor Activities
Enchanted At Knowsley Safari
If you want to get outdoors in the crisp Christmas air and have a festive evening out, there’s no better choice than the Enchanted at Knowsley Safari.
Running between the 30th of November to the 23rd of December the foot safari at Knowsley becomes an illuminated winter wonderland where you can see wolves, lion cubs, and even camels.
There is also a winter village, marshmallows by the fire and a letter box where you can post your wishes to Santa with festive food along the light trail.

Sneaky Experience Christmas-shire
From the 16th of November to the 22nd, Sneaky Experience is holding a Christmas-shire event at Kings Dock in Liverpool. The enchanting family quest will help the elves fix a leak in Santa’s sleigh this year through interactive performances and storytelling.

Lapland Liverpool
Bringing the magic of the North Pole is Lapland Liverpool, turning the Otterspool Promenade into a winter wonderland.
The three-hour entertainment experience includes departures, an arrival at the Lapland town square, gingerbread from Mrs Claus’s kitchen, an elf workshop, skating and much more!

Festive Liverpool Santa’s Grotto
Experience Santa’s Grotto at Dobbies Garden Centre, take a train-themed journey through the enchanting forest, receive a warm welcome from the elves, and spot woodland characters and hidden nutcrackers.

Taking place at Croxteth Hall is Story Time With Santa, this festive event shares magical Christmas stories with children in front of the log fire. Each child will get a turn to share their Christmas wishes with Santa before they receive a Christmas gift.
