Buying a brand new pair of trainers that no-one else is wearing these days is difficult. With trainer wearing being the most popular trend of any season, often everyone is wearing the same styles or even the same shoe. Bringing you unique and one-off pieces is Laces Out Festival, returning to Liverpool next weekend.
LACES OUT! is back with its 9th festival since it began back in 2014, in its new home Hinterlands, Liverpool. The sneaker event has just turned 4, and the guys have some big surprises in store for Saturday November 24th in the city at Hinterlands.
The popular trainer festival will bring sneaker lovers from across the world together in Liverpool to dig through thousands of rare, vintage and dead stock trainers brought along by the huge number of independent traders, brands and collectors. There are also some massive giveaways via raffles and arcade games that will see the event organisers give away ‘adidas YEEZY’s’, ‘Nike React Element 87s’ and more. As always, the market place is accompanied by a panel of special guests, brands, and DJ’s.
For AW18, LACES OUT! is back in its new home, situated in the heart of the blossoming Cains Brewery Village Liverpool. The event sees a screening the UK’s first feature length documentary on UK trainer culture, Sole Seekers, free for all LACES OUT! ticket holders. This will be followed by a panel talk featuring the film maker himself Emil, Mubi from ‘Sneakers n Stuff’, Tom Henshaw from ‘New Balance’, and others TBA, hosted by rap artist Burgundy Blood.
