Is there a more beautiful combination than pizza and alcohol? Prosecco to be exact – I think not my friend! This year, Liverpool is welcoming a festival dedicated to celebrating the two delightful delicacies, set in the newest addition to The Baltic Triangle – Hinterlands. Based in the iconic Cains Brewery, the venue is set to be the hottest place to be seen this year.
On the 19th of May, Hinterlands will host the Pizza & Prosecco Festival, which is set to be bigger and better than ever! Guests will be treated to an Aperol Spritz Cocktail on arrival as well as a slice of pizza, and there will be over 20 types of Prosecco to try, or The Tiny Tipple Van will be on hand to serve up a selection of sparkling cocktails. Don’t worry if you’re not a Prosecco princess just yet, because this year tickets will include a handy Prosecco Bible to help you along with your festival experience.
Pizza will be served hot and fresh from the wood fired oven, and fear not, this is an inclusive event – vegans and gluten free patrons are going to be well catered for this year, so no matter what there will be a huge selection of pizza slices available for everyone to enjoy on the day. The festival will see some of our local traders whip up some doughy goodness too – keep an eye out for Doughboys, Ffwmes, The Original Goodfillas and more.
This years festival will be bringing the 3 P’s! We’ve got Pizza, Prosecco and a sassy side dish of PARTY. The event will be hosted by a fabulous drag act who’ll be bringing a sprinkle of sass and spontaneity to the event. Visitors can expect a tonne of cheesy tunes to get singing to, mixed in with a selection live music, spectacular dance acts and some chances to win an array of prizes!
