The Adventure Dock in Liverpool

The Adventure Dock Company has recently set up a 92 meter inflatable obstacle course at Liverpool’s Duke Dock. Duke’s dock is situated in front of the Echo Arena and the Liverpool Wheel, so holds an accessible location for locals and tourists alike. Laura, and the rest of the team from the Adventure Dock Company are also trained life guards and ensure safety at every turn. Fun loving adrenaline junkies who dare to take on the challenge are supplied with a wetsuit, life jacket and a helmet to encourage safety at every turn. In order to take part, children must be older than eight years old and all must be able to swim; a skill which is tested at the very start of the challenge when you must swim to the obstacle course.

The obstacles test a vast range of coordination skills, muscle groups and mentality strength. There are a range of free fall slides, rafts, barriers and climbing challenges, enabling you to try out the whole course or even race your family and friends. This new outdoor attraction is a perfect way to entertain the kids this summer, providing a different and health promoting activity in the city center. There are changing rooms and lockers on site, so do not be afraid of not having anywhere to change and there is the option to bring underwater cameras and GoPros onto the course with you, no doubt making life lasting memories.

The course opens to the public on Saturday 5th May and closes on Sunday 28th October 2018. Tickets are priced at £20 for an hour long session, with discounts for group bookings. For more information and to book tickets please visit their website https://adventuredock.co.uk and don’t forget to bring your swimming costumes and towels!
