Vegan Menu at Vincent Liverpool

Struggling to find delicious vegan friendly food in Liverpool? Well, look no further. Head Chef Don Hilario at Vincent in Liverpool, has created and launched a delicious new vegan menu to delight Liverpool foodies. Featuring a fusion of sweet and savory flavours, Don Hilario has mastered the art of vegan comfort food. We took a closer look at Vincent’s brand new vegan menu.

Head Chef Don HilarioThe elegant restaurant, located in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district, has an eclectic menu that ranges from brunch to fine dining and Afternoon Tea. From steak to rich, creamy fish dishes, the only culinary path left unexplored was vegan friendly food. Head Chef Don Hilario was given the task to delve into vegan recipes and design a delicious variety of vegan friendly dishes, that not only look fantastic, but taste out of this world!

Vincent Vegan MenuTo start, we dipped vegan bread and butter into a hearty bowl of Country Vegetable Soup. Next we sampled one of the most unusual vegan starters, we have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The Chicory & orange tartlet, with pear, dressed rocket salad was a real surprise and a beautiful fusion of savory pastry and sweet aromas and we would highly recommend anyone to try it, vegan or not!

Vegan Comfort FoodFor our main course we enjoyed a comfort food classic, Vegetable & cheese pie with a side of thick gravy. Before anyone asks, yes, everything about this dish was vegan friendly. We then explored the lighter main course of Stuffed red pepper with lemon infused cous cous drizzled in red pepper & cardamom Jus. Both plates were quickly finished off and each and every mouthful savored.

To finish, we shared two vegan friendly desserts which perfectly ended our meal at Vincent in Liverpool. My favourite, the Passionfruit cheesecake with mango sorbet, and a rich Apple tart tatin with a side of dairy free vanilla ice cream.
