Brunch, Reimagined: Liverpool’s Brunch Club gets brand new makeover

With brunch now officially being the most important meal of the day, more and more people head onto Liverpool’s foodie scene in search of that expertly smashed avo and perfectly poached egg, whether that’s as a lazy Sunday morning treat or a kickstart to Monday. Although The Brunch Club have always had a solid place within the brunch-o-sphere, they’ve recently upped their game with a brand new interior and additions to their menu. We went along to check it out.

The Brunch Club’s stunning new interior can only be described as an instagrammer’s dream, packed full of beautiful plants, gold tones and even a real life tree. We were shown to our table on a busy Sunday morning and before long had ordered two colourful smoothies ‘the Hulk’ (avocado, spinach, apple and lemon) and ‘blueberry burst’ (blueberry, banana, chia seeds & milk) to provide us with some much needed Sunday morning nutrition. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, The Brunch Club also has a fantastic selection of cocktails that include classic favourites as well as some creative signatures. The menu also has a wide selection of coffee, of course.

It was now time to get stuck into the food menu, with a wide selection of both brunch and lunch dishes available, from the classic smashed avo on toast to loaded nachos and stacked burgers, the carefully created menu presented something for every food lover. With it being a sunday, we decided to each order a brunch selection, going for the delicious sounding pumpkin and mushroom hash topped with a runny fried egg (amazing) and poached eggs, smashed avocado and beetroot humous, sat on top of toasted sourdough – avo on toast, done right. As well as classic brunch options, there’s also a brand new breakfast board with avo toast and bircher museli, for those that fancy a bit of both as well as a full vegan fry up complete with home made black pudding. Yum. Need a hangover cure? The menu showcases a killer bloody mary to wash down that full breakfast.

From the super stylish new interior to a range of both healthy and indulgent brunch and lunch dishes, alcoholic cocktails and fresh fruit smoothies, the newly renovated Brunch Club is a must visit at any time of day – whether that’s for Sunday Morning catch ups or dinner and evening drinks. Check it out if you haven’t already.
