If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay while in Rome in a prime citycentre location, check out Anwar’s Luxury Suite. Only 100 meters from the breathtaking Colosseum, if you’ve never stayed in an AirB&B before, Anwar is a fantastic host and will provide you with a warm welcome on arrival. The ground floor apartment is a stunning and cosy space perfect for a couple, or a small group of friends. In a very friendly neighbourhood, the location is ideal and provides you with the feeling of being at home and is conveniently surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. We booked a stay at the Luxury Suite in January for three nights, costing £234.83 in total for two guests. The ground floor apartment is very clean and modern in design, and we would highly recommend booking this beautiful AirB&B while in Rome.

Fine Dining in Rome

Rome can be a tricky place to find fine dining food as there are restaurants almost on every single street in the heart of the city offering typical Italian dishes such as lasagne, spaghetti and of course, pizza, but we were lucky enough to find a bit of a hidden gem, only a couple of streets away from the Colosseum itself. Perpetual, a 5* fine dining restaurant recently opened it’s doors to locals and tourists alike, offering a sophisticated dining experience and first class customer service. Dress to impress at Perpetual but expect to be treated extremely well, as we couldn’t fault them on service or quality of food.

We enjoyed Champagne on arrival and even got to meet the passionate chefs behind the intricate detailed starters and delicately flavoured mains courses available and made fresh to order at Perpetual. Enjoy a la carte dining or treat yourself to a tasting menu that offers a wide range of bite sized pieces of heaven to try while you sip red wine and soak up the warm and ever so classy atmosphere.

Watch the world slowly drift by as locals and tourists spend several hours enjoying the moment over a sweet treat and creamy coffee or strong Espresso. Panella can be found on Via Merulana 54.

Take a look at Panella’s delicious menu.

We would highly recommend Rome as one of the best city escapes. There are plenty of historic monuments to explore, restaurants to experience and history to unravel. Fly direct to Rome from Liverpool via BlueAir and discover what modern Rome has to offer.
