In its majestic and historic form, St. George’s Hall offers a truly glamorous and bespoke wedding venue that will beautifully tie in with the tradition to have something old on your wedding day. Dating back to 1854, this city centre venue will make a stunning backdrop to your wedding pictures.
The red carpet will be rolled out to lead the way to an elegant drinks reception before you make your way into the glamorous concert room, which Charles Dickens himself once proclaimed is ‘the most perfect hall in the world’. For a fabulous £850, you can hire the concert hall, with a red carpet entrance, two side rooms for the bride to change and for you to accommodate entertainment or catering. You also have the freedom to decorate the concert hall to your specific taste.
As a licenced venue you have the choice of being wed in the more intimate concert hall or the decadent Great Hall which can accommodate 500 guests. When you see the Great Hall for yourself, you can understand why it costs approximately £5,000 to hire for a full day and night. The hall can be effortlessly transformed into an aisle with seating and live music for you to declare your love to one another and then into a 500 guest dining room for an impossibly chic reception which includes a dance floor and stage.In fact, the sheer size and beauty of this iconic venue recently attracted the attention of the official film crew of the Harry Potter prequel, JK Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts.
