Now yes- we do know that this spa isn’t exactly in Liverpool, but it’s within a pretty easy drive, especially when you consider just how relaxed you’ll feel after visiting.
Unfortunately typing away and keeping up to date with social media can play havoc with your back and neck, so sometimes you’ve got to put down that phone, switch off the laptop and treat yourself to a bit of ME time, which for us meant a cheeky little trip to a day spa.
After checking out quite a few North West spas online, we came across this unusual Japanese inspired spa, with its very own gardens with a koi carp pond. Yes- we did say it was a bit out of the ordinary.
Spa by Kasia, set in the scenic countryside of Pulford, not far from Chester offers a full day of pure pampering, allowing you to completely relax in its beautiful surroundings.
Inside the spa itself, is more of a rich Morrocan theme, which gives a warm and relaxing vibe, perfect to escape the all too often cloudy skies outside.
On arrival, you’re welcomed with an Asian Tea Ritual and shown around the facilities, including the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room as well as the Waterfall Lounge, Penchan Snooze Room, Tranquility Zone and the beautiful Asian inspired sensory gardens.
During our visit, we opted for an afternoon tea for two, since we were in full pampering mode.
Fortunately for us, we were treated to some sun during our visit which meant a glass of white, and a lazy afternoon basking ourselves in the sunshine, while we took in the gorgeous surroundings.
Our treatments included a luxury facial and for me a seriously good scrubbing in the way of an authentic Hammam. If you have any idea what this is, you’ll know that I came out after 40 minutes, with my skin gleaming pink….
Oh how we do love a good spa day.
