The Florist Liverpool

Located on Hardman Street, close to the Philharmonic Hall, The Florist has taken over the former Old Blind School and has transformed the Grade II listed building with elegant interior design that oozes sophistication.

The entrance features two incredible blossom trees, which reflect the decadent design of the whole restaurant and bar. You will certainly want to have your camera or smartphone to hand, especially as you make your way up the grand staircase to their very own flower wall. The opening night at The Florist was truly magical with floral and sweetly scented cocktails which were elaborately garnished. With canapés of lavender bread and whipped goats cheese butter served on slate boards, we tasted our way to heaven.

Our all-time favourite cocktail however was the Violet Daisy which is a combination of Cherry Marnier, black cherry syrup, violet liqueur and of course, a generous dash of gin. If you’re not a fan of floral cocktails though, the bar serves 60 hand-crafted beers.

The Florist Liverpool Drinks

We also got to sample a Tia Maria cocktail which helped to finish off our Sunday Lunch and give us both a little lift to see us through the afternoon. The playful twist included popcorn liqueur and popcorn garnish.
