Liverpool’s most exciting escape room, Breakout has just expanded to bring 8 brand new rooms to the city and the Unlock Liverpool team were fortunate enough to be invited to be one of the very first to try to break out of one of the newest rooms.
Doubling in size, Breakout in Liverpool has now acquired additional room on the first floor of their current building on Sir Thomas Street to accommodate an extra 8 challenging rooms.
Vacancy rated 4 out of 5 stars in terms of difficulty is set up as an eerie hotel room, which requires teams to check in via a guest book before they step inside. The scene is set as you are told that you’ve just undergone a long and exhausting journey and you’ve finally come across a hotel that has a vacancy. You know that something just doesn’t quite feel right, but you’re too tired to care. Placing your bag down on the freshly made bed, ready to relax an ominous countdown suddenly begins and no matter how hard you try, the hotel down won’t open again!!!
After 60 minutes of yelling at each other, pulling everything off the walls, out of the draws and out of the wardrobe, we were sadly defeated with only a couple of padlocks to go, we’d like to point out. What an incredible 60 minutes it really was. If you’re looking for something a bit different to do over the weekend or as a mid-week treat, we’d seriously recommend heading to Breakout in Liverpool and trying one of their brand new rooms. Teams of 2 up to 5 players per room, pick your competitors wisely and get ready to break out if you can!!
