District House Liverpool’s New Party Venue

With a refreshing island vibe, District House has taken interior design to the next level, with its warm summer night theme sweeping through the bar and right to the back of restaurant, it has perfectly matched sophistication with this year’s summer trend of palm trees and island life.

Don’t be deceived by your first impression.  As you enter District House, you’ll be met with a bar adorned with gold accessories and green cactus’s, all giving quite a cosy feel to the bar area, but walk in a little further and you’ll begin to take in the sheer size of this venue. A perfect space for weddings, corporate events and live performances, Unlock Liverpool was about to experience the true potential of this brand new hideout, so go and grab yourself a Long Island Ice Tea and get ready to see what District House has to offer Liverpool.

Greeted with a sweet glass of champagne on arrival, Anton Stephans treated us to a live performance in the main restaurant area. With more than enough space to accommodate over 500 people, we felt very relaxed and comfortable whilst enjoying a 3 course meal, among the audience. Starting with a jar of chicken liver pate with sweet onion relish served on a wooden board and bamboo leaf and finishing with a warm chocolate brownie with a side of pistachio ice cream, feeling quite guilty, I made a note to head to the gym first thing the next morning.

With his charismatic personality, Anton is certainly no stranger to a live performance. Taking the magnitude of the venue well within his stride, Anton’s soulful style and energetic performance was a true reflection of his unique talent.

Only a couple of nights after Anton Stephans took the roof off this place with his soulful composition, District House in collaboration with Bellavie Events launched Carnival Brunch. With over 500 guests dressed to impress, District House was prepared and ready to party. As a ticketed event, we were impressed with the amount of people at District House before 7pm on a Saturday night, but little did we know- the party had only just begun.

Making our way through the crowd to the front of the event, underneath the upper floor where the DJ was positioned, drink in hand, carnival dancers shimmied their way past us in glittered bikinis and feathered headdresses and posed ready on the stairs.

All of a sudden confetti blasted out launching everyone into the full carnival mode.
