Liverpool Hotel The Resident

City Centre Liverpool Hotel

There is nothing quite like a hotel room with high ceilings. The room that we stayed in was airy, spacious and had a minimalist style. With a desk, lamp and key coffee making facilities, we had everything we needed to work from home at The Resident.

Top Tip: For the ultimate Liverpool escape, choose the Secret Garden Suite which comes with its own private outdoor area.

Stay Out To Help Out, Liverpool Hotel Promotion

At the time we visited this city-centre hotel, The Resident Liverpool was running a Stay Out To Help Out scheme which meant you could bag yourself a stunning superior double room for as little as £53 per night. Be sure to check whether this money-saving offer is still live!!!

The Resident Liverpool is also part of a non-profit initiative offering 2020 rooms to ICU nurses, who worked on the frontline of the pandemic, as a thank you for their tremendous efforts. Click here for more information about the Nights on Us’ campaign.

Great Nights Sleep

As a Liverpool hotel based on Seel street, you’d expect there to be quite a lot of noise from the busy street below, but no, not at all. The room we stayed in actually overlooked Seel street, with beautiful floor-length windows. Yet to our surprise, there was no noise pollution from outside or from the corridors of the hotel. This really helped us to be productive during the day, and also get a great nights sleep.

If you do fancy venturing outside your room, The Resident Liverpool also has a stylish and spacious communal lounge area, which is perfect for catching up on emails and grabbing a coffee.

Order Groceries & Snacks

This is the very first Liverpool hotel that we’ve stayed in that has offered a grocery room service. After booking a room at The Resident, you’ll have the unique opportunity to request some essential snacks and groceries be picked up and put in your room for your arrival. As there is a mini kitchenette with a fridge in your room, you have the choice to order milk, fresh fruit, humous, yoghurt and anything else you might fancy while you work from this sophisticated hotel. Since recently switching to a plant-based diet, we decided to try out this brand new service and ordered some oak milk, coconut yoghurt and fresh fruit to our room. Nothing seems too much trouble for the team at The Resident  Liverpool and everything we wanted was there waiting for us when we checked in.

The Resident Liverpool HotelCovid-19 Measures

On arrival, you’ll notice how prepared this Liverpool hotel is, in terms of social distancing and protecting their guests. There is a large hand sanitizing station by the front door, and again before you enter the lifts. On check-in we were warmly greeted by the reception team, all wearing face masks, which was a great sign. When using the pens to sign documents at the reception, they made sure that any stationary we touched, was carefully put into another holder ready to be cleaned. This really set the tone for our stay. The hotel lobby, reception area, lifts and hotel corridors were all sparkling clean throughout our three-day staycation.

Attractions, Shops & Restaurants On Your Doorstep

Pop your face mask on and take a break from work by heading out for a bite to eat. This Liverpool hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city centre. Mason’s Liverpool is opposite the front of the hotel, and you can head over to Bold Street for some al fresco dining. The Brunch Club is another popular place to grab a spot of lunch, but we found it pretty busy! Or if you prefer to stay indoors, you can also use Deliveroo or Uber Eats and order food to The Resident Liverpool. This is what we decided to do a couple of times. We highly recommend ordering Vietnamese coffee and noodle soup for lunch from Pho on Bold Street
