One Fine Day in Liverpool has just opened its doors for the very first time and we were invited to check it out.
Located on Old Hall Street, in Liverpool’s commercial district, One Fine Day has transformed an historic Grade II listed building into a stunning new place to watch the world go by. In the former Cotton Exchange and Registry Office, the new venue has been restored beautifully, highlighting the building’s key architectural features whilst creating a large venue with cosy and intimate corners to enjoy a cappuccino or perhaps a glass of red.
With sister venues, Leaf on Bold Street, one of our favourite city centre caffeine hot-spots and the elegant Water Street venue, Oh Me Oh My, we had pretty high hopes for One Fine Day and as we stepped inside, our expectations were justified. With a Scandinavia design and a minimalist feel, the front of One Fine Day makes for a low-lit, intimate coffee house, with comfy seating and window front work stations perfect for busy freelancers.
Making our way further into the venue, glass of fizz in hand – of course- we were completely taken aback by the incredible venue behind the coffee shop exterior. Green marble pillars and an elegant winding staircase leading to a mezzanine, this sensational venue screams high society and it’s clear to see why this building has been awarded the Grade II status. An incredible space for a private event or perhaps a Liverpool city centre wedding.
During the opening, we were treated to a decadent buffet with mini pastries and desserts along with a live band who truly brought the night to life.
One Fine Day on Old Hall Street in Liverpool is set to become one of our favourite places in Liverpool to catch up on our emails over a cup of Earl Gray and a slice of cake and you can almost guarantee to see us at any upcoming events that they plan to host.
We’d like to say a massive thank you to One Fine Day for inviting the Unlock Liverpool team to the official launch. We had an incredible night and you really know how to throw a party!!
